There isn't one right way to build a family. Not everyone seeking fertility support needs or wants to begin with a traditional fertility clinic.
I offer intrauterine insemination (IUI) and basic fertility support for individuals and families looking for informed, inclusive, and personalized reproductive care.
Some people come to me already knowing their cycle well, with donor sperm arranged and simply needing support with timing and insemination.
Others are earlier in the process or want additional support with preconception health, cycle tracking, laboratory testing, medications, or identifying potential barriers to pregnancy.
For that reason, there are two ways to work with us. The right place to begin depends on how much support you need.

For people who have already secured sperm, understand their fertility timing, and don't need a fertility workup, laboratory testing or medication management.
$350 with washed sperm
+$50 if sperm preparation is required
Stand-Alone IUI
For those who are ready and know what they need.
Stand-alone intrauterine insemination may be a good fit if you:

Understand your menstrual cycle and fertility window

Are comfortable tracking ovulation and identifying appropriate IUI timing

Have already secured your sperm source or donor

Do not need fertility medications, laboratory testing, or a fertility evaluation

Are paying privately rather than using insurance for the service

IUI is preferably performed at my West Toledo office. In-home services may also be available within approximately 30–40 miles of the Toledo office.
Fee
$350 with washed/prepared sperm
Add $50 when sperm preparation is required
You are responsible for securing your sperm source and arranging and paying for shipping or delivery so that it arrives appropriately timed with your fertility window.
Stand-alone IUI is a private-pay service. Itemized receipts are available upon request for clients seeking possible HSA or insurance reimbursement.

Initial Preconception Visit: 60 minutes, In-person or video call

Intrauterine insemination Q & A
What is intrauterine insemination (IUI)?
Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a fertility treatment where a prepared sample of sperm is placed directly into the uterus during ovulation. It increases the number of sperm that reach the fallopian tubes and can be carefully timed to increase your odds of achieving pregnancy.
Who can benefit from IUI?
IUI may be a recommended solution in many different cases, including:

Unexplained infertility

Mild male factor infertility

Cervical issues or mucus problems

Ovulatory disorders

Mild endometriosis

Infrequent intercourse or to overcome timing challenges

Erectile or ejaculation problems
IUI also provides an option for single women or same-sex couples to conceive, particularly when using donor sperm. We are passionate about reproductive health and rights for all.
How does IUI differ from in vitro fertilization (IVF)?
IVF is considered a more advanced fertility treatment because it requires sperm and egg collection to attempt fertilization in a lab setting. With IUI, fertilization takes place inside your body by making it easier for viable sperm to reach an egg. It’s a less invasive and less expensive option than IVF, together we can discuss whether it might meet your needs.
What if I need extended fertility support?
Before you get started, we may order blood work, ultrasound, semen analysis, or other diagnostics. In some cases, you may take an injectable medication for two weeks or an oral fertility medicine for five days leading up to the procedure. However, fertility medications aren’t always necessary to prepare for IUI.
What happens during IUI?
The procedure typically involves collecting and preparing the sperm to ensure that healthy, motile sperm are used. Then, a thin, flexible catheter is inserted through the cervix into the uterus and injects the sperm sample.
Once the procedure is over, you are given space to lie down for a short while (about 15 minutes). You can take a pregnancy test two weeks after the procedure. With extended services, ultrasounds and blood tests can monitor your fertility.
